Optics Fabrication

Final optical components demand special techniques executed by precision machines in fabrication.  Lambda has provided uncanny in-house fabrication abilities to customers for over 25 years.  On average, our technicians in optical fabrication have been with us for over 12 years.  With our skill sets and experience, along with state of the art facilities, we are capable of producing parts with stringent tolerances and specs that are required by prototypes to OEM products.  In addition, our in-house 5 axis CNC machining supports a complete inventory of fabrication/polishing tools & test plates to make your lead time demand a reality.

These are some of the completed parts produced in our facilities:  Lenses, Windows, Waveplates, Beamsplitters, Mirrors, Prism, and Cylinder.

Materials include:  BK7A, Fused Silica, SF & SK series, CaF2, MgF2, ZnSe, ZnS, Ge, Si, GaAs & others.
